This week we have two dogs that would love to find a new forever home. Lucia and Rocky have both been with us at Animalandia for too long and it’s high time we found these two the homes they deserve.
Lucia and Rocky are both wonderful dogs who will make great companions. Naturally, they are both spayed/neutered , vaccinated and vet checked and ready to go to their new homes. Trust me when I tell you that Lucia wants to be your new best friend. Lucia is a medium-large female shepherd cross. True to her breeding, she is fairly high energy and would benefit from plenty of exercise. She’ll happily chase a ball though she doesn’t always bring it back. She is also very happy to curl up on your lap even if she doesn’t quite fit. The larger dogs are difficult to place and Lucia has been with us for too long. We would absolutely love to see Lucia find her forever home.
Here’s Rocky!! Rocky is a large male dog. He is 2 to 3 years old and he weighs in at 57 pounds, (26 kg). He and his sister were abandoned at Animalandia as puppies. His sister was adopted last winter and Rocky is now anxiously awaiting his turn. Rocky is a gentle, medium energy dog who would do well in most homes. He is a little cautious and reserved upon meeting new people but he warms up. Rocky, like Lucia has been with us too long and he deserves a shot at the good life.
